ABOUT US

Berala Jack & Jill Preschool is a Not-for-profit early childhood service proudly serving our community with quality education and care for over 70 years.

We provide a safe, nurturing environment where staff and families work together with respect for each other’s culture, knowledge, and experiences to give each child a sense of value, well-being and belonging. This provides the best possible foundation for a child’s growth and development.

Our high quality Preschool program is interesting and varied and is based on the learning outcomes contained in the Early Years Learning Framework.

We value the idea that children learn through play and learning should be fun to encourage interest, imagination, creativity and to develop good communication and social skills, which will benefit them throughout their life.

Berala Jack & Jill Preschool is a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Preschool.

To assist and support our families and their children, we have educators who speak:

Children are encouraged and supported to:

“We are supportive of families and children with additional needs and always do our best to accommodate them according to the resources available to us at the time.”

OUR TEAM

MANAGEMENT

As we are a Community Based Not-for-profit preschool we are run by a Management Committee. The Committee meets regularly to oversee the running of the preschool.

Our partnership with parents in providing good governance helps connect us to our community and ensures the views and values of families and children are always considered when making decisions.

Families volunteer for these roles and the preschool cannot operate without a committee. We encourage all new families to consider getting involved.

EDUCATORS

We have qualified and experienced staff that has provided great continuity and stability for our children and their families over many years. We believe that our staff is our most valuable asset in delivering a high quality Pre-school Program.
