Priority of Access

Priority of access is given to:

Existing students of the Preschool who wish to remain in the program for a second year of preschool.
Children who are at risk of significant harm. as identified through the Department or other support Agencies.
Children who are at least 4 years old on or before 31 July in the year the child attends preschool.
Children from a low income and/or Aboriginal families.
Children with a disability and additional needs.
Children with English language needs.

FEES

Fee’s for 2024 are:

$40 per day for non-equity children

$30 for equity children

Fees will be reduced or free if the fee relief is applied to our service.

Berala Jack & Jill Preschool is not a childcare centre and as such is not approved for the Child Care Subsidy.

Payments

Preschool is cashless, we accept direct deposit into our account. Alternatively we have a square payment reader for card payments, please note there is a 2% fee added for square payments.

Fees are payable each term and must not fall into arrears. A term statement will be emailed at the beginning of each term.

Membership/Admin Fee

The Membership/Admin Fee, which is to be paid in the first week of starting preschool, includes the annual fee for Storypark Online Programming and maintenance of preschool and its equipment. This fee for 2024 will be $150

WAITLIST

We accept children on our waiting list from birth. Positions are offered according to priority of access and the waitlist.

We begin offering places for the new year in August and this process continues through-out the year. While we endeavour to offer the days you request, this cannot be guaranteed. We may have some positions available through the year if families move out of the area.

To join the waiting list download and complete the form below email it back to info@beralajackandjill.com.au. You will need to pay the $20 non-refundable fee by direct deposit, the details are on the waitlist form. Once we have received your form we will email or text your child’s number on the waiting list.

If putting your child on the current year waiting list, your $20 fee will be waived.

Please note you can select any days/program as it does not matter at this stage.
